Once i have been the tiling course(should be sometime early in the new year Jan Feb)i have my 1sy job.My own kitchen floor.

Approximatley 16m2.
Just wondering what kinda price i would expect to pay getting a tiler to do this job?

This is not a hint for a quote this is research

Depends on what tiles you are laying and onto what kind of flooring really as this would depend on wether much prep work was required before being able to start.

hi graham i would charge you £320.00 if its straight forward job plus materials but i live in manchester tilers around my way would do it for alot less than me maybe £160.00 its really bad where i live someone always undercuts you

Well, yeah, if no prep work was required, ie flat level concrete floor, standard ceramic tiles then £320 plus materials.

unfortunatly theirs always some one willing to do the job alot cheaper than what the job is worth.

Thus driving down the price of the trade resulting in people working for nothing

yeah when i first started out i did my first few jobs cheap just to learn from it priced a job for my mate oneday to do his kitchen only 3sq said i would do it for £100.00 he said ok but still had a tiler coming round who he had rung from the local rag to give him a quote he told him my price and he said he would do it for £75.00

Graham id charge 320 plus materials, probably about 400 all in m8.

Yup, agree with the above. Just priced similar job giving the customer my trade discount on his tiles (saving him £100) keeping hold of the other discounts though.
Good Luck Graham
