My tile cutter has turned into a coffe table

After my Xmas Present of a homebase tile cutter ( booked a course at nett for the end of Jan) I have now explained that i Was looking for a Rubi, the wife thought that was something she put on her finger.

So the tile cutter is returned and we exchanged it for a wooden table ( can this cut tiles?)

So, will it be a decent cutter or exchange the wife at homebase!
