Due to the credit cruch and shortage of money about, I think multi skilling is the way forward and to add on other trades to your services. Fitting a full bathroom is the most profitable way to go, plaster, swap sanitary and tile, no more hanging around for someone else and paying out

We at NETT are adding Plastering courses and a short Bathroom Installation course to our intense tiling courses, as per normal the courses will be of the highest calibre to fast track you into your new trades.

The new courses start weekly from 13th Oct 08

i already do bathroom installation but i am going down for plastering either this or other side of christmas so will also let everyone know how it goes:grouphug:

good on you sweaty sock,im sure it will be worth it.I will need to see if the wife will loosen the purse strings after christmas and i will go down and do the plastering course aswell...

I have some home projects to do in new year so that will get me my course fee back and thats two or three days when i've set up some mint jobs for plasterers on prepped walls and new gyproc and had to go and get one day hits to cover _dont get me wrong they do a mint job but i see some jobs as easy hits and some are call in the experts

People ask when your in their house can you do this and that, It's turning work away at the end of the day. I do a certain amount of multi tasking but don't to spread myself out to far only whats connected to what I already do

when I get asked the same, I usually tell the customer, if I can;t I know a man who can. If you get a tradesmen in that you know, it, one, saves the customer the hassle and, two, that tradesman will repay the favour one day!
