yeh I did notice the groove in the middle of the block that is the only thing missing from my block but I can hold it firmly enough with my thumb up against the side and you don't really need much experience to understand a decent 45 angle.... did you design the block for genesis deano? if not you should of patented it if there isn't already one out lol nice idea

Only thing that's missing is 22.5 degree grooves, then it would be worthwhile.

I just bought a Genesis metal mitre box a couple of weeks ago (CTD about £3). I thought to myself this will last a couple of years! Deno, I now have to invest in your design and put my metal one in my spares bag! Nice design and well done. Sean
