hi,
just joined and got a question straight away,i've got to tile a screeded floor which previously had wood on it,i need to remove the old glue and wondered who found it easier either chemical or mechanical,cheers,

If that's too tough try some cellulose thinners. Used sparingly to dillute the glue.

This will evaporate completely from the surface. Keep windows open.

A heat gun may also help, but don't use this method with the thinners.
