i had the same cutter and the same problem. i bought a sigma (i forget the number now) 63cm cut. i wondered how i tiled so long without one. it does take some getting used to though due to the pull scribe. it cost me £270 inc. vat from diatech, next day delivery. it may be worth you trying one out before buying, i'm sure some of the peeps on here will recommend the rubi tx range too

but it depends on what size you mainly cut this one will cut 75 cm (not a 600x600 on the diagonal)

When i started tiling tiles on average were 200x200 only needed a small cutter as time went on tiles grew so needed to upgrade tile cutters . now do you think tiles will get bigger than 150 cm if they do ill need another cutter

jays answered your question perfectly......the only reason to upgrade a sigma is the cutting length, any sigma any size will cut the hardest of porcelain, where as a rubi you have to upgrade the cutter to cut harder tiles.

i have 2 sigmas, one will cut up to 330 tiles, which is ideal for kitchen spash backs and run of the mill bathroom tiles, and this is my big sigma... it will cut up to 750 tiles, both are well over 15 yrs old and still going strong, the build quality is outstanding, and i see no reason why they wont last me another 15yrs.

as some have said they do take some getting used to, but once mastered you will never look back.
