new tile cutter

I use the Rubi TX700, never had a problem with any tile, have tried to get on with the Sigma but couldn't. Each to their own

I don't think you would really want to carry a Rubi TX700N around when cutting small tiles....Yes it will cut them but its a big cutter. Ideally you require at least 2 cutters ...Maybe more depending on the size tiles you are using.
Its sods law that if you buy a TX700 the next job will be 900mm tiles, you cant win!

As for the whole debate, Rubi V Sigma its horses for courses. What ever works for you.

I am happy with my Sigmas ( only 3) but if I were to be feeling in the mood to get a smaller cutter it would be a Rubi ts30 for when I am using 150mm -200mm size stuff on the industrial units that I tile.

Only got the Rubi 40,50,and 60 and a hammer - it does all my porcelain.

i have the ts 50+, ts70+ and the 700n. the ts+ range are a bit rubbish for porsa,great for any ceramics but not porsa.
now,the 700n,is a great machine,has cut owt i throw at it.

sigmas,have never used,so can't compare
