Hi all, just had my first week on my own after doing the 4 week course with PTS in Harlow. All going well, im slow but trying to keep standards high. The speed will come, didnt help it was all 90mm tiles on a huge kitchen splashback with loads of plugs and eye level cupboards

as above concentrate on your quality , in a years time customer will still see the quality of your work and won,t remember how long it took. Good luck with future work.

I am looking to book myslef on a 4-6 week tiling course next year in preperation to move into the trade as I move to Wetern Australia. How did you find the course and provider as they are a name i have been given by the CTP. Did you find the course gave you the knowledge and ability to do the job?

Welcome to the forums mate. As others have said don't worry about your speed. I did the 4 week course at PTS in Harlow in June and my I am ten times faster now. Just concentrate on steady work and you will be fine
