The Sigma and Montolit crews can say what you like, I got this today and have spent the afternoon trying it out on a variety of porcs and its awesome! Best thing about it, it cost £215 and its brand new!

Big pat on the back for choosing a quality cutter. I always want to get new cutters as they look so good in mint condition and two rails are always better one IMO.

TX 700 (Rubi) Been after one for ages and won this one on ebay last night.

I've tried a few single rail cutters and just can't get used to them. Hate having to lean round to the side to see the cut marks.

You won't be disappointed Bri. I had my tx 700 serviced with a new breaker system (blagged for free from Rubi) last year and is like a brand new cutter again.

Very happy with it. Got the TX1200 this time last year, and although it is very good, I don't get to use it much. This is more for everyday use. It was a bargain, and only had to go 40 miles to get it so not much in diesel! Winner!

I love the TXs. I had the 1200 as well, same thing didnt get much use out of it but my god is it handy (well not handy but you know what I mean) when you do need it.

I learnt with a Rubi so have always used them, the tx range is great. It is fair to say that thers are other cutters out there that do the job for less money but with Rubi I find they are built to last. I got a big clinker as a stopgap last August til I got this and it is a good cutter but, the wheels need replacing alot, it's a pain to see cut marks on the tiles due to the single rail and already it's starting to feel a bit loose and wobbly. You get what you pay for I suppose.
