New van & scrappage scheme

Of course not, I haven't earned enough yet to even think about fiddling the system:thumbsdown:

Just to clear things up a little, what I meant by that statement was that with it only being my second year as trading self employed as a tiler & with the outset of tools I'm not really earning very much money when it comes to profits at the end of the year, also I've been trying to get a mortgage for the last year, but as you can imagine with most of the banks supposedly suffering in these times & me turning self employed its not going too well on the mortgage front.:mad2:

So for me if I were to be doing any fiddling of books It would be to show that I was earning alot more than what I am currently.

Back to the scrappage scheme I'm not sure how realistic these prices are but A dealership for near me is advertising some unbelievable deals on new citroen vans. Apparently they are doing a small van the nemo for under £5000! the berlingo seems pretty reasonable too.
