BTW, I dont use a spreadsheet for pricing, and i don't use the "feel" factor (tried and lost money!) - Invested in a copy of Sage Accounting - it gives me the ability to quote etc., and lets me enter all purchase notes and convert quotes to invoices, o bank rec's and everything - saves a fortune in accountancy fees come year end too - also then creates a customer database for "marketing" too!

Welcoem to the forums Cameron. You are right just to pick the guys brains to get started and get a foot hold into the industry. Once you start building a rep you will come on leaps and bounds. Loads of good info on here, don't be afraid to ask.
