Hi, joined last night, am about to jump ship to espania and need to take some gear with me, it being the land of tiles. I found one of those Husqvarna online and liked the look, dont know whether to go for the 670 or 470. Am not a pro just a competent DIYer and will have loads of tiling to the shack and annexes for the kids out there. was thking of spending more on the manual cuter and buying a cheap wet cutter. So any advice would be welcome

dont know much about husqvarna, there is a thread some where!!!
rubi or sigma would be my choice of dry cutters.
as for wet saw most spanish tilers just use a grinder.....

Rubi Cutters are the way forward mate.

A good standard cutter is the TS50 Plus.

:94: hi there, can't agree with chas and dave( rabbit rabbit rabbit), only joking guys but that name might stick now, buy sigma every time, what is the point of having to score a tile with one lever and then break it with another??? sigma's are quicker and far more accurate but they are also more expensive,the guy on the right represents sigma:94:

depends what rubi you got, tx700 score and snap with the same lever. never had any problems with it. rubi was the first and the choice of PROFFESIONALS! Sigma......never heard of em!!!:lol:

hi gandan mate..depending on the tile format, a move-able breaker comes in handy..especially on porcelain...there lots of makes of dry cutters with move-able breakers,,rubi and sigma being two of those to choose from...
