Hi everyone, i'm Paul and i am new to this forum.
I have done some small tiling jobs before, very slowly but i am now building my own house and would like to do all the tiling myself.
I have picked up a used Rubi TX700 tile breaker as my first tiles are black / grey porcelain 600*300 floor tiles with a riven slate effect on top, how do i know how hard these are and should i use the 10mm or 18mm scoring wheel?
Also, in the past i have generally used 300*300 and just put the cement onto the base of the tile and then lay it, is this ok?
reading my tile cement it says i should use a watered down mix of something before applying the cement to the ply on the floor, is this necessary, i have a 4mm ply above 22mm wooden boards, the ply is to get the height correct to the wooden floorboards outside the bathroom.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
