Well I used NMP for the first time today, not really a great deal of difference from hardibacker. Just as much of a pain to cut! The surface is much smoother than HB which I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, the grid pattern on HB gives a better key to the adhesive IMO. Also HB is a couple of quid per m2 cheaper. No doubting it is a good product and provides a nice substrate to tile to but, I won't be switching over from HB.

What is your normal price for HBB? What size Sheet?

Dunno its been a while but roughly same size as NMP. Only 2 places round here sell it.

NMP is 1.2x0.6 so 0.72 m2 and HB is 1.2x0.8 = 0.96 m2 and the same price per board.

Ok, HB is 80p more per board but, there is 25% more board. It works out to be £2.13 cheaper per m2. Quite a difference over a big area.
