Discuss Non-load bearing cinder block walls? in the British & UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.

Looked at a bathroom yesterday where the partition walls have been constructed from a "cinder" type block, resting on the floorboards. The walls are non-load bearing and have been plastered! I am looking to overboard the walls with Wedi before tiling, anyone had experience of this construction and what would be the best way to affix the Wedi? I was going to skim the blocks with rapid set and let it cure then trowel fix the boards with rapid set too. Any other ideas or advice greatly welcomed!!
