introduce the culprit to your claw hammer.... its a great persuasive tool... 😉

I know of a carpenter who was threatened with non-payment - banged on the door, barged in with hammer in hand and started (or made like he was) going to wreak the work he'd done. Customer soon paid up! Upon leaving he noticed another tradesman pulling up outside - she'd done the same to him. Carpenter told him what he'd done/threatened!

if they wont pay tell them your taking your adhesive back as they have not paid for it yet then start ripping the tiles back off

One of the guys I used to do roofing with was once told by the customer that he wasn't going to pay for the whole roof that my friend had just put on(noyhing wrong with it he was just trying it on).My friend went round the next day and said fair enough, got the ladder off the van, climbed up it and then preceded to start ripping the tiles off the roof. The customer begged him to stop and said he'd go down the bank right then and fetch the money,my friend told him to fetch another £100.The customer said why and my friend answered that he was gonna keep stripping the tiles off until he gets back with the money and that he'd need the money to put the tiles back on he just stripped off.
The customer was there and back with the money in 10 minutes.. TW*T!
