Non-tiler - Advice needed

Hi, I'm one of those non-tiler people, I just go to the shop and buy the materials! I need clarification as I feel I have been fed some duff advice tonight....

We just laid a slate floor, looking very nice and we sealed it with Fila Slate Impregnator Sealer, however it wasn't the final look we were after, so thought we needed to get some Fila Colour Intensifier.

The advice we were given was buy some other stuff to remove the Impregnator Sealer before we can then apply the Colour Intensifier. Seems like this guy must be on commission as we spent £50 on the stuff that we now have to remove.

Can anyone with Fila knowledge advise if that is the case...?:mad2:

Wot look are you after .. matt / semi sheen or gloss look....?

Probably a gloss look, we've laid the floor in our kitchen and it has more of a look of a patio....

I use lithofin products so i,m not really clued up on fila products normally if it is just an impregnator then you can apply a finish polish to this to give it your desired finish.. here is a link to fila products or you can pm gaz@topps http://www.tilersforums.com/members/gaz-topps.html as he sells fila products....
