Norcros permalayer

Has anybody used permalayer before ? Rep ( as they do) has told a builder I do work for its the same as dittra but half the price . Read up on it and it seems to do the job but with a 100ms of stone to go ontop I don't fancy taking any chances!
And neither will the builder.
any experience using it or comments welcome

Deffinitely not "the same" as ditra as it is a completely different technology. It would be considered an alternative that performs a similar function. Never seen it used so cant comment on ease or performance.

The only thing that performs like Ditra is Ditra by Schluter.
Everything else tries and to differing degrees achieves anti-fracture and/or uncoupling.
But in my experience and according to tests I've seen, Ditra still out performs them all.
