The 02 reg Ford Focus 1.6 ghia that I bought from a well known dealership who sold it to me in A1 condition. Only 3 months later when I took it to a different place to be serviced did I have it up on ramps and saw the accident damage and repair work. It had had the most almighty shunt into a bollard, never been put thru as an insurance claim, and the repair work was starting to rust. The dead giveaway should have been the passenger footwell becoming a foot spa every time it rained....

Went back to the garage and politely :incazzato: they bought it back off me, and I took my tank Vauxhall Vectra off the forecourt the same day. The whole episode set me back £500 in lost part ex value on the Focus.

I won't ever touch a Ford Focus again, nor will I ever buy a car from that dealership again. Everything I drive now I get on a lease. I pay a little bit more to have a fully maintained vehicle and I don't have the hassle of garage bills etc. The Corsa will go back with 75k miles on the clock and won't be my problem :hurray:

Fiat Panda - had a head-on collision, me going 20 m/hour on a narrow Cornish lane behind a cyclist, ford estate doing about 30/40m/hr coing around teh cornish hedged bend a little too wide, he had a slight dent in the radiator, the fiat just crumbled like a paper bag, the driver seat collapsed forward and I had a hairline crack in my neck and walked around in a neck collar for months. If you value your own and your loved ones' safety, don't ever ever ever buy one...:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:..ever.

Ugo the door used to fall off all the time , had to hold onto it for dear life going round corner and looked like something off the get along gang.
Also Tigra looked lush but nightmare to put car seat in and had to remove the bumber evrytime a headlight needed a new bulb , when my niece was born we used to have to pass her through the boot coz it was the only way of getting her in the car and supporting her head at the same time

i notice that there are a few Fiats in there ...wonder why?

cos their crap ?

My worst cars been a Rover 200 Coupe VVC, lovely interior but dated looks on the outside, and anything that went wrong needed like 2 or 3 other parts replacing along with the broken bit as everything was built as multi sealed units.
