Not started tiling my bathroom yet, but I think I have made a big mistake, in buying a certain size of tile (33x25)😳
I have marked all my center lines making sure not to get a sliver of tile at one end. then I noticed that where the window is (120cmx90cm) offset, I mean not in the middle of the wall. There is nearly 50cm on one side and 15cm on the other side.

So the question is, please: do I move my center line to the center of the window or keep it at the center of the wall? (The wash basin is exactly in the center of the wall)

In my downstairs bathrooom we used the window as the centre line

And tiled with the centreline in the middle of the window.

We decided NOT to centralise the tiles to the window.

So its been done both ways in my own home!

(Sorry if I havent been much help.... Maybe I've made it more confusing!)

Thanks 365drills, I think I know now what to do, because if I use the window center line, I will have a joint up the 15cm wall. thanks again.

I think i would do whatever you feel looks the best its you that will have to look at it, not really right or wrong when setting out, ur just trying to get biggest cuts possible because the bigger the cuts the better it looks. Hope that helps a little. But take your time setting out thats the most important part 🙂 good luck.
