Oh No............

Was at a job yesterday in a pituresqe Yorkshire village with a stream running passed the garden.

Mrs customer came home, very pleased with how her new randon sandstone floor was looking and the progress made.

She kindly offered to make me a brew, milk 1 sugar thanks. Ten minutes later she came through with a cup.

I picked the cup and and realised she had made me coffee, cant stand the stuff. So i thought what do i do, leave it in the cup and let her see it when i ve gone or get rid & chuck it in the stream?

Well i chucked it in the stream only to turn round and be greated by her with my cup of tea, she'd mixed the cups up and offered to swap!!!

Doh!

Didnt seem to mind when she brought my toasties out this lunchtime, and a cup of tea!

i do love laying sandstone wivs would had probably tried to seal the tiles with the coffee or had his trousers around his ankles for some reason lol

i cant beleive how much addy its taken!

Thickest stone was 40mm and thinest down to maybe 5, thats some building up ive had to do without feathering it down toooo much!

the bigger stones are always going to be thicker i sometimes put old tiles underneath saves the adhesive
