That was confusing, I was trying to work out how an oil tanker (ship) flipped over, then i realised it was an oil tanker (lorry).

Must have been a densly populated area, or a very big explosion, to kill so many people, becuase of the drivers stupidity.

And I thought mythbusters proved that you couldn't light petrol or deisel (and I assume oil) with the temperature of a cigarette end. : puzzled :

Maybe fipple knows the real truth in this, oh no, wait there, he's not around now.

I guess they were collecting the oil to sell it? Which is why so many were involved and sadly died perhaps.

Well, mythbusters did test the vapours too. The bald guy in mythbusters is a movie stunt expert and he said they have to use explosives in movies as he already knew you can't light vapours or liquids with the temperature a ciggy burns at which is pretty low compared to electrical charges igniting explosives.

That all said. I'm not the expert.

But yeah, I think the people collecting oil from a tanker that's toppled risked their own lives somewhat there. I'd have been running the other way personally.
