i just put a level across the tiles and you are right, some of the tiles bend out on the last two inches by a milimitre or two. BLOODY B AND Q.!!!!!!!!!!!.
Kev, I thought planametric tolerances were to do with a variation in sizes of the tiles, rather than bending of tiles. Bristish Standards say that tiles can vary by such and such amount (what ever it may be) = planametric tolerances?
Planimetric tolerances usually relate to large format porcelain tiles. The biger the tile the more difficult it is to get it absoluterly bang on level and straight. Now when you tile in the normal way normally no problem but when you start to lay brickbond you cause problems because of the variation. Proper producers of porcelain know this and crate them side on for shipment but the cheaper producers don't care and you end up with want of a better word bendy tiles. BTW that is 6 pints of old speckled hen talking with me as well:lol:
