Hi all, haven't been on in a while ; )
I am pricing a job and need a back up option if the customer doesn't want to pay Bal prices locally. I don't want to lose the job over the price of adi. It's for an interior slate job - 110m2 so grey flexi rapid. Any suggestions as to good deals you've come accross, for good gear mind..Bal/ Mapei/ PCI (although never used it?)

if you have a trade account with...Tile Giant - Ceramic Tile Merchants then you will get better prices if not if your using topps why not use the toppfix gear

I have tried the Toppfix a few times and don't like it, especially with slate. I had a couple of slate loose, and found it too slow setting compared to BAl, plus it has a wierd inconsistant feel to it, like it's bubbly or something every other bag! Apart from that it's great : )

CTD do offers on bal but im not exactly sure whatthey are at the moment, though personally i find mapei to be an extremely good adi.

yeah! i've never had problems with toppfix either,if it wasn't for moving to TG then i would still be using it as i actually like it same as i still prefer bal grouts...............yes i am a weirdo
