Hi Guys, I am doing a kitchen floor which currently has wood parquet flooring down. I have removed some of the wood floor which comes up ok, however the black adhesive is still left on the cement floor. Rather than trying to scrape it all off, does anyone have any good ways of removing it. I was thinking of covering it all with a thin level of SLC and tiling over that?

Dave I have a similar situation after removing loose bits and priming with SBR would it be ok to tile direct rather than SLC the floor. The area I am looking at is 50sq mtrs, biggest floor I am quoting for, so SLC would be a big job. I would use it to level low areas. I would consider using flexible adhesive to tile.
