Hi all, does anyone have any tips for tiling pebbles??

How best to cut pebbles

Any tips for setting out

i have only tiled one kitchen with those pebble type mosaics..they are quite random in pattern so really only practical in areas that the window cills arn't to tile as it can look a bit messy on the edges..i had to cut them using my wet cutter ..when setting out try to maximise your cuts to suit the corners etc..........dave..

Cheers dave, they are to go in a shower area so hopefully i shouldn't have any cuts that will look to mesy. i have a bricolina wet cutter, do you need a heavy duty cutter for these?

there is normally no need to cut them. just pull them off the mesh and put smaller pebbles in the space. just work off one of the walls cause you cant see if its out of square or not. make sure the floor is really flat as you may only be able to use a 6mm trowel on them

cheers Dave, not used these before and i need to do a good job as the guy is a property developer/ builder and has a lot of work on, just hope i impress. could be good for more work.

Cheers wayne, good tip, do you grout in the normal maner? any tips there would be great
