:smilewinkgrin: who plays and what's your handicap? I've not played for about four years now and had a h'cap of 13 (would probs be upto 28 again now), :smilewinkgrin: What clubs do you play with? and which is the best course you've played?

I don't play Golf. So 20? (random guess there!).

And I don't play golf at Barlaston Golf Club (one end of my road) or Trentham Golf Club (the other end believe it or not!).

I drive past one or the other daily and wonder what it'd be like if I enjoyed it but I don't think I could be bothered to whack a ball and then go get it.

My dad and loads of his mates used to play it (they all still do, he just doesn't) and I've had offers to go but other than the pee-up part I think I'd get bored. Unless it was jackass style with big horns and jumping sand pits in golf carts.

you'd be quite a natural if your starting h'cap was 20 Dan I'd love to have you in a stableford comp on my team

Havent played for near enough two years myself and funnily enough looked at the blue sky this morning and wished I was out golfing instead of mosaicing a shower cubicle.

I'm sure I'd be way up there on the handicap now too.

Best course I ever played was Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire, absolutely stunning - but fave regular is Trent Park a local cheapie which is £18 a round peak and £10 if you tee off super early but has everything going for it and is really well kept.

Damn I miss it.

Play off 14, but only mange a dozen games a year if I'm lucky. Member of Balbirnie Golf Club and have a set of Ping i3's. Spoiled for courses around here as Fife is the true home of golf. Played the old course many a time, but I think it's a bit of a goat track. The best one to look out for is KingsBarns, cracking course, and by far one of the best in Scotland.

I haven't played for years due to having no time. I used to be off 13 and besides others played Turnberry regularly. I've also played Troon and Prestwick ( the original open course). Three open courses within twenty minutes drive of me. We get a lot of americans here on golf holidays. My clubs all Ping and my irons copper berylium Ping Eye 2. All needing reshafted.
