I resonantly bought my wife a BMW X3 for her birthday the insurance was £250.00 here previous car was a VW sharan that was £ 480.00 go figure

Sounds like an obvious question, but have you used the comparison websites? You can adjust your premium by doing things such as increasing your voluntary excess.

Ash, it took me years to get my insurance down to a decent price, you've just got to grin & bear it I'm afraid..

Might it be the fact that your corsa is an old knacker and therefore more costly to insure because they'll probably write it off if you get in accident?

I wouldn't go as far to say its an old knacker, now if you was onabout my first corsa that was understandable as it had completely corroded by 12 months lol. but nah it isn't due to that because ive looked at buying a new car and tested it on the compare sites and it just gets higher and higher
