probably correct but the line I had to work with wasn't straight, the joint between the slab and the window is way off a straight line, no one seems to make a preformed joint 12mm wide-not even schluter. also the floor depth was 30mm. A hand formed joint seemed the best solution and also, in my opinion, gives a nice natural feel rather than a clinical straight edge as it is a trav stone.

My 2p worth

1st its medium travertine not cream/beige,

2nd its a settlement crack so a manufactured expansion joint would not of worked he was dealing with shift not stretch

3rd you did very well to get it off the ufh

4th the strips are a nice touch as the floor is laid @ 60/60 and you have taken the eye off the fact its not continued in that area
