Pipe In The Corner, What Am I Gona Do??

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

I had not considered cutting into the coving, seems feasable. As for the mitreing, I was refering to cutting a slip of a tile and placing it diagonally across the corner and mitreing the tiles at 22.5 deg' to make up the 2 x 45 deg joints.

I didn't suggest that clear enough; I ment score above and beneath the coving, and actually remove the coving. After packing out a new boarded wall 'refit the coving and no one would ever know!
You'd have to redo the arcitrave around the door too (IF that's the wall you do).

The mittered 22.5° corners would work too but, personally that would bug the hell out of me. It would be the only corner not at 90°.
Be interesting to see what you do. Good luck.

Jesus christ is this thread still going? lmao

It's a case of boxing it in. Most bathrooms have shed loads of it! lol
