Plasterboard or wood?

Hello,

Thanks for earlier advice now I have had walls plastered and waiting for them to dry out, I was left by the plasterer a bit of plasterboard and he said it may be worth putting over the wood I currently have boxing in my pipes before putting tiles on. The area is small and on the floor so cant see the benefit of fixing plasterboard, wont the tiles just stick on the wood fine?

Its a good idea in my opinion

onto plasterboard would be better neil, just face the boxing with it and tile

As above, I try to avoid tiling onto ply whenever poss

i am with the masses plaster the ply its easy enough
