Steel ruler to measure if it needs to be accurate, offer up if not so critical

I measure from wall to tile and deduct x amount for spacer and expansion gap.

I still offer up quite often too.

Jimny- how do you work out where to cut your tiles?

If you measure your tiles then a Monty or sigma will definitely be a good option. If you only ever offer up the tile and mark it then a Rubi might be better.

Not an exact science, just my thoughts.

Got one of these... what an excellent bit of kit. Just completed a job of Colorker porce 600 x 300 10mm and cuts them like biscuits - chocolate covered digestives!!

I’ve tried offering the tiles up, like I’d been taught all those moons ago, but I keep getting them wedged in the ceiling. 🙁😀

🙂 No, I meant they’re generally too big for the room so they get stuck between ceiling and floor.
The average sized tile I fit these days is 2.4m x 1.2m. 😀

That's big - 600 x 300 is big for me.. 😀
