Ply Bathroom Floor

Hi I have 3 bathroom floors currently Lino over ply substrate recommendations on what to use over the top of the ply prior to tiling I'm thinking of a ditra membrane !? Any other suggestions

a bit harsh local tiler. i seem to remember you asking about using insulation boards under electric ufh and being concerned about strength. i'd consider that to be common knowledge for a pro tiler

I did indeed question that, and I'm still not confident to use them on there own over floorboards

If it was a simple solution there there would only be one out come not half saying yeh go tile straight onto ply and half saying no ! not every job is as simple if your wanting to do it right

I'am with the local on this - as I said earlier ' had to look twice to see what forum we were in' thought it was DIY!
Always amazes that people charge for a service that they are not skilled in.
