polished porcelain coating

Hi,

How do you tell if polished porcelain has a coating that has to be removed?
I asked were i got my training and was told that he has never removed it?

The tile would be dull, if in doubt clean anyway just to be sure or even ask the tile supplier.

As Mark has said the tile will be shiny but not a high gloss.. so if in doubt always clean, LTP grimex is my choice for porcs.

I agree!! Can't see why you'd put a coating / sealer etc. on Polished Porcelain though unless it was a non-slip but then why would you buy Polished Porcelain in the first place? Check with supplier....

I use a white emulsifying pad to agitate but only after the initial dwell time..
