Been to measure a job today, 19m2 floor tiles in a kitchen. Iam looking for some advice on a fair price. It is a timber floor which will be already ply boarded, i will be supplying the flexy adhesive and grout and it is in a brickbond pattern. Also the new floor is of a chipboard construction on joists, would 9mm ply be ok, thanks.

even if the floor is rock solid, I would still use 12mm.....your screws can get a countersink and wont burst through the ply:thumbsup:

it helps to get a good countersink on your screws without letting them burst through the ply:thumbsup:
as for the price depends where you are...expenses...how long it will take you...for brick bond you need a dead flat floor, or it will take longer.....

just be fair to yourself and the client and you will get repeat work and reccomendations = more money!

I love it when it is asked how much would you charge. The ply issue has been answered now the price issue.
How long do you think it will take you X how much do you think you are worth paying per day to do that particular job.

Voila there is how much you ask for.
