Price for laying Porcelain please

Hi,

I looked at a job last night, it was 2 bathroom floors, just over 3mts each and they want 600x300 polished porcelain tiles down.
From what I can see It looks like chipboard on the floor,so im thinking of plying it with 12-15mm...

I dont price by the metre, I normally price on what I want for the whole job, which is what I will probably do ,but out of curiosity, wondered what you would charge for laying Porcelain...

day rate @ 150 plus materials

the room sizes dictate a day rate but if you can get them done in a shift and your meterage price works out more then go for that

how does that work out of curiosity "you charge what you want to make"
does that mean you do all work on a set day rate ?

I should have added Id expect to get most of it done in the first day and day 2 for grouting, cleaning, finishing etc charged at half day. Depeneds how long you think it will take yourself...

Thanks guys, I was thinking of the 150 mark myself, yeah it depends on the job David, I never work by the metre, not on walls anyway, wouldnt make a bean if I did..lol

Id go £180 in your area unless your in the posh end of luton (Harpenden my old stomping ground) then id be nearer £200

same price as ceramics for me as no different to cut, and using core drills peice of cake to drill
