Of the new NMP boards, which side comes already primed? The smooth side or the rougher side?

Is it necessary to prime the side facing down before using the mega strength adhesive? I expect the megastrength would bond better to a porous surface so I think better to fit the non primed surface facing down. Am i right?

Thanks

The smooth side of 6mm boards(thicker boards aren't primed at all) comes pre primed, however I always prime it once again , it seems to be absorbing moisture a bit too quickly anyway ,no need to prime other side when using megastrengh , the rough side needs priming when You lay it down with tile adhesive.
