And have you contacted them ? I cant think of any other reason for the system not to work.

Yes,

They cant undrstand why its not working either. I have sent the thermostat back to be tested.

If that comes back okay, my only option will be to take up the rest of the floor!!!

Uheat - Keith

Thank you for the second lots of pictures sent to my e-mail address.
6 pictures from Tues 13th and the 5 from last night.
Peter, Steven, Adam and I have all been looking over your project since you first telephoned us on 28th Feb this year.
With the Resistance reading you have already told us about, the cable is prefect, so the short time you ran power to the cable alone, should have warmed the floor just right.
Please can you advice two more things?
a) Where is the floor sensor probe located, surround by?
b) What order are the different layers?

Warm regards, Keith

I am in the process of completing my last check by hooking up the UFH directly to the mains. If this dosent produce any results then thats it.

I will either have to rip up the floor and purchase new heating matt/cable and insulation (In big trouble with the wife!!!)

or have no UFH which is a real shame in a wet room!

What should I do???

ps Uheat have been very helpful. There just seem to be no reason for this not to work?

Well i have decided to take the plunge and rip up the floor and replace the UFH.

The wife is going to kill me, but I just like things done properly

No offence to all you professionals, but I am going to do this myself. Ijust want to make sure its done properly.

I am going to install 20mm marmox boards and then install a 200watt heating matt over the top. if this dosent heat the tiles I am moving to a country where you dont require heating!!

I may create a thread on my exploits. Where should i put this?

Wish me luck!!
