Well i think you need to sort that out first ....Garage, shed , carport ?
Not such a bad job actually as most stuff will be big items. The drum doesnt look too bad but other metal work could do with beating flat. I guess it depends how far you want to go with it and how deep your pockets are.

Yep your right Neil ! i need a good place to work on it first, do you get bits sand Blasted and primed and painted in a local engineering works ? for your projects ? or DIY , then there is parts !! sound complicated !! you may even end -up on more forums lol..........

I have found its false economy to try and do some things yourself but If I were ..lets say refurbing that mixer I would strip the metal work down and see what was salvageable, then get it blasted to get a clean surface and spray it myself. As for the engine , I reckon a service, degrease and paint with brush and it should be good to go for many years.

I was going to have my sigma powder coated...and may still do if I feel like it is worth it later.

Most of the items I have bought so far have been less than I would have expected or thereabouts, Sorry but the cutting wheel was ridiculous money !

Feel your pain Neale, put a new 60b wheel on my 10L last week and broke my heart. First job with it was 900x600x20 black limestone slabs and it performed flawlessly, so that eased the shock a bit.

After a bit more searching I may have found a sigma 86c at the right price. I will know more next week.
