dam u fit some work in don't ya mate lol how ong did this take roughly?

I got there at 10am unloaded my gear.....and that was done by 3pm......but I did make a bit of a mess...........not usual practice I can assure you!..........
I like sites to be clean and tidy........by the time I had finished there was addy on the floor, walls and cupboards......I had to get over to the school!........tommorrow is another day.............and I can sort it all out!....hehhehehheeeeee....

Shame that nib fell within the hob area...

the hob is not center of the "reveal" Dave....and that is the shame.....if you look in piccy 1 you can just make out my lines on the wall above the tiling......there is a center of hob and two lines that represent the edges of the hob........

when the extractor goes on the tiling will be center of hob and center of extractor...........

it is what the customer wanted......and I agreed it was for the best.........

more pics tommorrow..........I have to work........I might even make a little vid for a giggle.............

Evening all...........I finished work early today.....got home..eager to make a post and my laptop had blown up!!!!! DOH!!!!.........
I have been down to pc world and all is good again!!!......hehehehheeheehheheeeee

Anyway......turned up this morning to grout up and mastic........here is how it went:











all is good.....i pack up all my gear into the van and just pop into the bathroom to do that 2ft of Silicon I missed the other day............and this is what I found:





the plumber has been in.....drilled holes everywhere.....not put any protection down (so the mastic is FUBAR)....and the whole place looks like a proverbial hole.......who does that? and dont clean up after themselves?

Plumbers and sparks - take your pick. Does my nut. I had 1 day free labour out of a plumber who screwed up a wet-room floor I did and had to clean it all up.

Looks like so there was a full tile under the window rather than half tile

it was exactly as John say's Dave.......but the tiles are bevelled as well so I find cutting the bevel off leaves a flat surface on the worktop making for a neater Silicon joint.....
but like you say "each to thier own".....

Do you use a Fugi or similar for siliconing Lee, just wondered what the finish was like on bevelled tiles
