Quarry tile floor

Hi, I'm restoring a quarry tile floor that the previous owners of the house tiled over. I have cleaned them with ltp product but when the floor dries I can still see the stains from cement tile adhesive and efflorescence. Can anyone help me with what I should do next.

What LTP product have you used?

Grout stain remover and grimex.

Have you used the grimex neat or, watered down?

Grimex has got me out of a couple of sticky situations with regards to grout residue. If you haven't already, put some down neat and leave it for a few minutes, then agitate it with a stiff brush. Failing that give this a go LTP Power Stripper | LTP Online | Tile Cleaning, Sealing and Maintenance Products do it in an inconspicuous area first to make sure it doesn't do any irreversible damage to the tile surface.

What is causing most issue? The adhesive residue or efflorescence ?

I have attached a photo of what the tiles looked like after I removed the ceramic tiles and what they look like after a few cleans. I think the adhesive is coming through the most as a circular pattern.

Have you a pic of the tiles now they are dry ..? .. that pic is of them still damp..

when you wet the ones with the light patch on , does the colour go more uniform..?

As i thought.... use a colour enhancer to seal with .. this deepens the tiles and evens the colours.. i find Fila stone plus one of the best i have used.
