Has anybody fixed quartzs tiles this is the first time in 25 years have been asked to price for these .......... how easy are they to cut ........ what would you fix them with etc havent seen them yet any help would be much appreciated.....

Is it a natural material or a tile?

If it is natural quartz it is one of the hardest materials the nature has and needs a wet cut with diamond blade. Adhesive should be white, fast setting and for marble. Martin

If they are quartz composite ones with the glitzy bits in then they will cut on most pro cutters. Light colours on white flexy. There are a couple of lots around good stuff in 40x40 & 60x30 and a Chinese rip off in 30x30 (think its just 1 size)

You need to seal this type with something like stain stop (but check ye )

exactly as wetdec says, ive used these tiles before 600x300 hard tiles but cut them in my little pro tiler plus no probs.

If they are quartz, generally the grain of the stone face will run the length of a tile, a bit like the bark of a tree. Sealing them within an inch of saturation is good idea, makes grout clean up much easier....Gaz

Depends on the quality gaz, some cheap conglomerate compositions are right nasty when it comes to grouting, the higher end of the market versions should cause no probs when grouting even unsealed, grey flex for black and dark colours, white flex for white/light colours.....word of warning watch your bloody eyes!
