usualy charge per meter but if i get a bathroom were you cant just fling it up then i will charge a set price, wee daft kitchens are a just a set rate aswell

Same for me, kitchen are set rate plus any prep if required. I often like to do some bespoke piece above job, this is also an add on however some times i do it for free if i like the customer.

Metre rate is good but if your supplying adhesives and grouts you need to take your time going getting them into account plus the fact your paying for them up front too , time is money
