Random acts of kindness..

I've been doing a job for a very spritely 73 year old customer over the last couple of days.

When I did his en-suite last year with Porcelanosa tiles, he suggested that they add me to their recommended fixers list, with no prompting from me, and this has been useful for me .

Today, he heard me on the phone to the local garage argueing with them 'cos Mrs Slow's car has gone pear shaped and it's gonna cost me a few grand (plus a hire car to keep her sweet). They don't have a courtesy car available so it was going to cost me approx £75 to hire a car just for the weekend :mad2:. Before I had finished my rant at the garage, he had called his insurance company and got Mrs S added to the policy for his second car at a cost of £25.

Mrs S is now cruising around in a fully loaded Merc E430 for this week :smilewinkgrin::smilewinkgrin:.

There really are some nice people out there! :hurray::hurray:

My random act of kindness occured today.
