Hi All
Have ripped out tiles from a bathroom i'm hoping to start on wednesday.
In some areas mainly around the window the tile has pulled off the plaster back to the brick so need to build back up to around 15/20mm.
If i use bonding coat/skim that i beleive would take at least 3 weeks to dry.
Could i build up using rapid set.one coat about 8mm then a second?
If so how long between coats and could i then tile within 2/3 days?
Or could another option be to cut the plaster into a rectangle shape then use rapid set to dot/dab plasterboard on to build up.
Cheers for any thoughts
Kev

Never used any rapid setting render before.
How long CS before before you can tile onto it?
The areas mainly around a 6ft long window.
Will dot dab the reccess but from the edges along the wall
in areas it goes about a foot and half back to the brick around the window
Tempted to use rapid built up as have a couple of spare bags if folk think shouldn't be a prob
Cheers

You'll be able to tile it in a couple of hours.
