I am in America and I lived up in Sunderland for awhile. While I was there is 2000 a tile company renovated the floors in the mall. The set all the marble or stone and then planed it in place. It was a massive job and am trying to figure out what they use for sand/plane in place floors.

Your help would be appreciated!

These are machines with stones in.The stones polish up the tiles flat and then move down to smoother,less course stone to polish up
