Ford Transit, had it over 3 years now...ok had a couple replacment parts to do but no big deal....

I'm looking to change my old 2001 Renault Master soon
It's been a great van and with living next to the sea the galvanised body has proved to be solid and has zero rusting, other than 3 or 4 small blisters here and there.
Transits and Sprinters up here don't last 2 minutes before rusting around the arches and cills
I'll more than likely be just getting a newer Master as I think they are top vans
So if there any folk are after an affordable workhorse just PM me for price:smilewinkgrin:

I can't see why you need a car..

New transit is my choice.... if you think you can cope by down sizing then go for the Ranger etc..

the kids complain when they av to sit in the back of the van so it will be most likey a ford ranger or a L200

My renault got a steering rack in the first 9 months, apart from that she is superb.
Hope the vivaro mike is no reflection of the renaults with same body.
Mine has full electrics onboard too and really can go.
I was doing a small job for a mechanic 2 weeks ago and he says the renault are about the best out there at the minute ! Now he knows his stuff too so hopefully he's right.

Dodgy gearbox is common on older Vivaro's......not sure if that applies to the Trafics as well though.
