Make a point of meeting Marc. That Sigma you have is the best 1200 manual cutter there is. Marc will know if it’s the material at fault or your technique. You won’t hear any Rubi fans piping up at this point either 😉

TZ looks good.

Was an extra £300 and not enough people have it to give good feedback so I decided against it.

That Sigma you have is the best 1200 manual cutter there is..........
are you sure? I disagree.
I can? haha

And to top off my Sigma hatred, as I was getting the 'shark' (looks like a shark with the fins out) out my van, my 25kg tool rucksack fell out and straight onto my foot. I now have a damaged big toe 😡🙁
Ouch!

I feel your pain, i dragged my Fein Multi out of the van with my powertool hessian sack but managed to break its fall with my foot and I actually stuck my foot out to catch it. God it hurt, right on a thin bone at the top.

We have 8 pages of q+a in this thread about this 1200
cutter, to be fair it is probably user error,[no disrespect to anyone]
sigma are good machines if used correctly I just happen to prefer
Rubi because they work for me

On tiles similar to yours @James De I score twice, then apply gentle breaking pressure at bar end to start fracture break and then move to far end to make second fracture break and its at this point it breaks. I never use sudden force to break the tile.
Just another thought @James De , you have removed the transit wedges/ packers from the spring loaded bed haven't you?
