Recommnd black Galaxy glitter Quartz floor tiles

Having a new kitchen fitted soon with a black Quartz glitter worktop & would love the matching floor tiles.

• Does anyone have black glitter type of tiles~ and would you recommend them?

• Are they easy to keep clean - I've seen opposing reviews, some say they are a nightmare because show every crumb and mark?

• Will sealing them take the shine away?

• How often would you usually need to seal them (i.e. every few years or so)?

Tile Giant have 2 type in the'glittery' range. The cheaper looked just as good IMO. The sales guy said they would need sealing .

They are going to cost a fortune -even going for the 'cheaper' tile & I don't want to regret having them ...

Quartz worktops... I know they may not match exactly but more concerned if having similar style on the floor could prove to be too high maintenance! ( got kids and cats!)

Ok... star galaxy gulf stone agglomerate from CTD are good.. and quartz does not need sealing..

Try Lightburst from ESL there's is pre sealed and suitable for use with wired underfloor heating

I'd go with Gulfstone Black Opal......far more bling than the cheaper alternatives, and dare I say it less problematic.
Just do a simple search on this very forum for problems with cheap quartz.

I could not agree more, however, Lightburst is guaranteed to have min 95% quartz and only 5%resin where as some of the cheaper versions are just full of resin, making the product, as you say cheaper and they obviously come with problems.
