Redundancy

Hi all,

I'm a Plasterer in Cardiff whose recently been made redundant. I've heard that I might be eligible for some funding towards training? I'm interested in retraining as a Painter and Decorator as I think I might be able to get some further work in this area.

Has anyone here been made redundant?? If so, have you managed to access any funding?? Or did you go straight into another job??

Go to the local job centre and ask to be referred to the RAPID RESPONSE TEAM, they should help you out with training and getting you back into work

Yes there is. It took me about 6 months to find out and a lot of hassle but they do exist and can really help with re-training

Hello and welcome.... There is funding but i'm not sure how long you have to be unemployed before you can get it..
